Welcome to our website! Steve set this up the weekend he proposed (02/29/2008) and it is definitely a work in progress. We are not sure exactly where it will go or what will eventually end up on it, but with Johnise's creativity and Steve's technical know how we are sure we can come up with something! :-D
Obviously the biggest news is that Steve proposed to Johnise on Leap Day and for reasons he does not fully understand she actually said yes! The main ring is actually the 50th anniversary band that Steve's maternal grandfather (Grandpa Diz) gave to his grandmother (Grandma Virginia) for their 50th wedding anniversary. Steve purchased the center diamond and had it added before wrapping it up in a Dustbuster vacuum to give to her. There is a funny story about this -- check out Johnise's blog for the details!
We do not have a date, location, or any other details of the wedding yet -- we are currently just basking in the joy of the engagement. We certainly will let people know as our plans begin to develop. In the meantime, Steve has put up a survey about wedding/gift registries if you would like to participate.
